Police are warning residents of Indian Head Park after injuries were reported in a home invasion in the southwest suburb.

The attack occurred in the Briarwood Court neighborhood around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, officials said.

"Home invasion on Briarwood in Indian Head Park with injuries," police texted residents. "Suspect is still at large. You are urged to lock their doors and keep outside lights on."  BUT WE CAN'T GIVE YOU A DESCRIPTION OF THIS WANTED OFFENDER....

A knife was reportedly used in the attack, but no details were available about the injuries.
